ProAccess PCS is a secure and effective first effort to provide physicians with electronic access to patient clinical information. ProAccess PCS:

Principal features of ProAccess PCS include:

Longitudinal electronic health record
Users can perform a simple patient search to locate a longitudinal health record and view it in an intuitive user interface. Views include face sheets, results by visit, results by test, trending, and more. The application handles a broad range of data types, including discrete values, prose text, and rendered images and presents them seamlessly to the user.

Inbox
The inbox displays new results in a customizable user interface. Users can easily navigate from a result in the inbox directly to the patient chart view. Results can be also be printed, faxed, or forwarded to another user directly from the inbox. “Hover over” viewing enables users to expand data sets without having to navigate away from the inbox.

Delivery preferences
ProAccess PCS features a result-delivery configuration utility that allows users to determine how results will be delivered to them. Results are always available through the inbox, but users can select additional delivery mechanisms such as automatic printing, fax delivery, and electronic delivery into their EMR.

Rounds and patients lists
These customizable lists enable physicians to create and organize lists according to their workflow. List functionality is also available to physician groups, enabling all providers associated with the care of a patient to view census information as a care team.

Electronic signature
The electronic signature function supports various workflows, including bidirectional interfaces. The inbox features a batch-signing option that enables physicians to sign multiple reports without entering a PIN each time.

e-Prescribing
ProScribe is the prescription-writing module of ProAccess PCS, and it functions from both the ProAccess PCS web application and a mobile device.

Patient merge
Authorized users are able to merge or to link patients at the application level. The patient merge tool can merge patient demographic data and move clinical data to the correct patient.

Referrals module
The referrals module provides a secure environment for physicians to communicate about patient care and to share necessary aspects of the patient’s health record.

Order initiation
